Description:
White oak veneer is wheat colored to a light golden brown. White oak is a common American hardwood. It is easy to work with, strong, dense and decay resistant due to the abundance of tylose in its cells. It is often stained and accepts finished well.
White Oak veneer is wheat colored to a light golden brown and is one of the most common woods used today.
It is usually book matched with the grain running along the 8’ dimension. Standard grade white oak wood veneer normally allows for some defects such as occasional pin knots and/ or mineral streaks. White oak is a common American hardwood that is easy to work with, strong, dense and decay resistant due to the abundance of tylose in its cells. Flat cut white oak veneer has a medium to coarse texture and an alternating tight to porous grain. Flat cut white oak wood veneer is often stained and accepts finishes well which accentuate the cathedral grain.
Applications:
White oak veneer is a product applied to the surface of the furniture to give it the appearance of being made of solid white oak lumber. It is also commonly used in surface of the door, also know as plywood, MDF, chipboard and block board and interior decoration, etc.
